Darren Styler – Director of Operations

Darren was born and raised in Delta, a small farming community in Southern Utah. Growing up on his family’s farm, he developed a strong work ethic and learned valuable life skills, which shaped his character and work philosophy. He graduated from Delta High School in 2006.

Following high school, Darren served a mission in Toronto, Canada, where he worked with diverse communities and gained a broad perspective on people from all walks of life.

Darren took an unconventional approach to his education by integrating work and learning. Rather than pursuing a traditional academic path first, he joined an eCommerce marketing company that offered employees the opportunity to learn marketing, web development, coding, and other digital skills in exchange for sharing that knowledge with clients. This experience sparked his passion for online marketing, web development, and coding. While building his career, he also pursued academic studies in Marketing and Finance at Dixie State University (now Utah Tech University), ultimately completing his Bachelor’s degree in Finance at Southern Utah University.

Since 2008, Darren has continued to expand his expertise in marketing, holding senior leadership roles such as Director of eCommerce and Operations Manager for several multi-million-dollar companies. In these roles, he has stayed on the cutting edge of industry trends and helped businesses grow exponentially through innovative marketing strategies and operations management.

Currently, Darren serves as the Director of Operations at Gem Awards, where he thrives on integrating new market strategies to drive growth and efficiency. Outside of his professional life, Darren enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.
